eat, pray, love incorporates all my favorite things mentioned above and more. when i first heard about this book, i wanted to read it but I already had like a million other books stacked on my shelves to read. then i discovered there would be a movie coming out based on the book staring Julia Roberts! so basically, i had to read it! since i got it last week, i have been reading it non stop since. i swear that book is life changing! i’m not going to tell you what it is about much more than the character eats in italy, prays in india and finds love in indonesia. so please just read it. its that good
(500) days of summer is finally out on dvd! i’m not sure what i loved so much about this movie but something makes me keep coming back for more. maybe its the cute clothes (still searching for the perfect blue sundress), the darling actors (team michael grey gubler), the soundtrack (because to die by your side is a heavenly way to die) or the slightly depressing take on a love story (i’m a sucker for romcoms gone wrong). but I think what i liked best was the refreshing honest take on a relationship. because sometimes it lasts in love and sometimes it hurts instead (thanks adele). so basically, if you get a chance, see it! and if you’ve seen it, see it again. and again and again.
