last night, i went to one of the best live performances i have ever seen (sorry railroad revival tour). i saw ben howard at the troubadour in los angeles with a few friends not expecting much but boy, was i blown away. seriously the only way i can describe it is magical. he has the most amazing sweet and simple style of singing. its so raw and real. and he just seems like a beautiful person. he’s too ridiculously talented and adorable for his own good! here are a few of my favorite songs of his plus a genius cover of Call Me Maybe:
its been quite some time since i’ve posted! i’ve just been soaking up the sun and enjoying my time at home! this summer has been filled with great music, reading, baking yummy treats (and eating yummy treats), exploring new places and learning new things. my best friend from england is here for most of the summer (yay) so i have been spending time with him as well as my other wonderful friendies. i found two cute new coffee shops where i have been spending a lot of time reading and at open mic nights. i’ve also been in LA quite often for church and exploring. i’m so blessed and excited to have three more whole months to enjoy friends, family and sunshine
i’m certainly one blessed girl
this is one of my dances from my college dance org show this weekend. this song is so hauntingly beautiful and it was a joy to dance to. plus one of my favorite people was the choreographer! how lucky can one girl be? i seriously enjoyed dancing in this piece. i’m the one with long blonde hair in a purple dress in case you were wondering.
