even though i’ve lived by the beach my whole life, i’ve never really appreciated it. at least not like i do here. the beach in nice is wonderful and the perfect place to watch the sunset over the peninsula. sure, it has its problems like topless sun worshipers (thank goodness that season is coming to an end) and sharp rocks (i like the pebbles but they are a bummer to walk on in the water). i think after my time here, i’ll appreciate the beach more in california and maybe even visit more than once a year. but till then, i’ll enjoy my ‘nice’ beach here.
